NEWARK, Ohio (July 7, 2026) -- The Midland Theatre and DankHouse Brewing are teaming up to bring Nashville to Newark. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the two organizations present Nashville Nights, an evening celebrating some of country music's most exciting rising artists. The concert features headliner Carter Winter along with fellow Nashville talents Tristan McIntosh and Presley Tennant, offering audiences an authentic Nashville experience right in the heart of downtown Newark. The event is open to all ages, and music begins at 7:00 PM at DankHouse Brewing.
Nashville Nights is a celebration of the songwriters and voices shaping the next chapter of country music, and a chance to see them up close in a relaxed, hometown setting. It also reflects The Midland's ongoing commitment to sharing great live entertainment throughout the community, not only within its own historic walls but in partnership with the neighbors and local businesses that make Newark such a special place to gather.
Leading the lineup is Carter Winter, and for him this show is something of a homecoming. Ohio-raised and Nashville-based, Winter pairs a rich baritone voice with a gift for turning real life into song. Called “country music's modern traditionalist,” he blends the classic country he grew up on with a rock-tinged edge of his own. He has shared stages with Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, and Travis Tritt, and built a devoted following from California to the Carolinas with songs including “Love Like I Drink” and “Higher On You.”
Joining him is Tristan McIntosh, a Nashville native who has been training as a musician since the age of four. She first captured national attention as a finalist on American Idol and has since shared stages with Darius Rucker and Mickey Guyton and performed at the renowned Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Drawing on influences from Linda Ronstadt to Dolly Parton, her songs move easily from the playful “Champagne Rampage” to the heartfelt “Not Losing Him.”
Rounding out the bill is Presley Tennant, a California-Country artist who first turned heads on The Voice, where coach Kelly Clarkson encouraged her to embrace her country roots. Dubbed a “vocal powerhouse” by Taste of Country, Tennant has shared stages with Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, and Carly Pearce and performed for crowds topping 30,000. She also gives back through her Riffs and Rescues initiative, partnering with animal rescue organizations across the country.
“We love filling our own historic stage, but every now and then it is a joy to take the party out into the commu#F0F7FBnity,” said Maryann Crist, Executive Director of The Midland Theatre. “Nashville Nights brings three tremendous young artists to Newark for one unforgettable evening, and doing it alongside our friends at DankHouse Brewing makes it even better.”
“We have always wanted DankHouse to be as much a music venue as a brewery, so partnering with The Midland for Nashville Nights is a perfect fit,” said Josh Lange, co-founder of DankHouse Brewing. “Heather and I were born and raised in Newark, and there is nothing better than filling this place with great live music and good neighbors. Grab a cold one, bring your friends, and let's make some memories.”
Nashville Nights takes place Saturday, July 25, 2026 at DankHouse Brewing in Newark. The event is open to all ages. Music begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $30 and required for entry after 5:00 PM.
