Sold Out and Sailing Away: Christopher Cross at The Midland

OUR house sold out for Christopher Cross on June 24, and the Newark crowd sang along to every note of "Sailing" like they'd been waiting years for the chance. Nights like this are exactly why we do what we do. A room full of strangers who show up separately and leave like old friends, all because a song brought them together for one evening.

Our house photographer Lindsey McCutchan was in the room to capture it, and his gallery does what a great concert photo should: it puts you right back in the seat (or gives you FOMO). The lights, the crowd on their feet, the little in-between moments that don't make it into most recaps. It's a great look at what it actually feels like to be here.

Lindsey has been telling the story of our stage all year for Midwest Riff Review, and we couldn't be more grateful for the partnership. Head over to see more photos, reviews, and interviews at MidwestRiffReview.com
