The Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra is our community’s orchestra, bringing world-class symphonic music to the heart of Licking County. Under the direction of Music director Russel C. Mikkelson, the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra brings together professional musicians from across central Ohio to perform a wide-ranging repertoire, from timeless classical masterworks to innovative contemporary works. The NGSO performances at the historic Midland Theatre continue a tradition of symphonic excellence that enriches and inspires our community.
